The significance of life is to share with others where we can.
About us
The Good-Will Charitable Services (G-WCS) is a non-profit organization committed to community support, with a primary focus on distributing food parcels to informal settlements in Windhoek, orphanages, and soup kitchens. Established in 2020 by Prof. Eugene Madejski and a group of five women, the initiative aims to assist residents of Katutura’s informal settlements, struggling households, orphanages, and soup kitchens by providing essential daily food items. During his work tenure in Namibia from 2013 to 2017, Prof. Eugene worked with marginalized people, orphanages, and San people in Windhoek and upcountry. The initiative has been under his guidance, with occasional assistance from local sponsors. Over the past five years, G-WCS has successfully delivered food parcels to some of Windhoek’s most vulnerable communities, including Havana, Goreangab, Okahandja Park, Kilimanjaro, and Oshitenda (One Nation). The initiative has also extended its reach beyond Windhoek to areas such as Dordabis and Okahandja. The organization is driven by a team of eight dedicated volunteers who lead its efforts on the ground, ensuring that food parcels reach those in need and visits to soup kitchens and orphanages. G-WCS works closely with community leaders from informal settlements, whose local knowledge helps identify the most disadvantaged and deserving families.Vision
